Pinxo (named after the Basque word pintxo) is a lively Basque-style tapas and wine concept with a playful twist. While the concept never came to life, it gave me the opportunity to fully explore my creative instincts and combine my love of custom illustration and animation. The brand is vibrant and energetic, using simple forms, bold color, and subtle movement to reflect the buzz of a spot that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The hand-drawn logo, later refined digitally, mimics a loose cluster of olives—like something that might roll across your plate—while the illustration style pulls from vintage food and wine posters to bring a sense of warmth and nostalgia. The motion design, while minimal, nods to the journey of food from planting to table.
